The Gen 2 builds on the original design with an adjustable stainless steel front tab, allowing for improved fitment across the Q-Sert product line. With slight variations in Q-Sert slot dimensions across different models, this update provides additional flexibility to help achieve a more consistent fit.

Compatibility & Fitment

This light bar mount is designed for long Q-Sert slots and should fit the front angled slots of the Boombox, the longer slots on Fix and Mini Fix handguards, and the new OTP Handguard.

Due to slight variations in Q-Sert slot dimensions across different models and production runs, the Gen 2 adjustable front tab provides additional flexibility to help achieve proper fitment.

Boombox owners: If you have a newer-production Boombox, measure the long slot on your handguard before ordering. The slot should measure 1.500 inches or greater to help ensure compatibility.

Suppressor Clearance

The suppressor shown in the product photos is a Q Thunder Chicken with an approximate outside diameter of 1.75 inches.

The light bar can accommodate suppressors up to approximately 2 inches in diameter, depending on the mounting configuration, when installed at the front of the handguard. If the mount is positioned farther back, suppressor clearance is generally not a concern.

Some light bodies have different mounting depths and may not accept the longer screw. A shorter alternative is included to provide a better fit.

For gen 2, install the mount as shown in the gen 1 video. For the front tab, slide the tab as far forward as it will go on your setup and apply the same torque to that screw as you did on the main Q-Sert mounting screw. I tried to make this as intuitive as possible!
